Three tips that helped Alicia
1. Meal Plan Even if they’re just dinners, it’s not hard to turn a recipe into additions for lunch the next day.
2. Take a measurement– Scales may barely move but centimeters disappear like crazy.
3. You bite it, you write it. By putting everything in the app or writing it down, you start to see how much you actually eat or don’t eat, and it gives you an idea of where you need to work. It also makes you more aware of your food choices.
Alicia’s advice
“My advice to anyone trying to lose weight is to set small, achievable goals, the more often you achieve these goals, the better you will begin to feel about yourself, the more confident you will become and the more you will want to keep going.
Please do not hedge all your bets on the scale! Scales don’t tell you what you need to know which is great! It also shows you the difference that changing small habits makes inside your body, eg your organs become healthier and the scales certainly don’t show the change in your mental health.
Take each day as it comes step by step, you will achieve more than you originally thought.”
