I usually do 30-minute yoga twice during the week and one hour on the weekend, and when I finish post-workout, my scalp tends to feel very itchy and my curls become more frizzy. However, after using on Sunday || Sunday products, I’ve noticed my curls keep coming out, my scalp isn’t itchy, and the different scents make my hair smell And therefore good.
root update It is my favorite product out of the group. Since I only wash my hair once a week, it becomes dry and over time my curls start to fade. I prefer the look of my hair on day 3 or 4 because that’s when I get the most volume, but it also starts to look a bit dry. Root Refresh was perfect to use all week long because it restores moisture to my hair and helps it look like I washed and styled my hair (although I didn’t).
Her tips for taking care of curly hair:
My advice to women with curly hair is not to stress too much about the look of your hair, but how it feels and whether it is healthy. There are different types of curly hair and they are not meant to all look the same. It’s all trial and error. I’m still seeing what works best for my hair when I’m in my 30s! As long as you do the steps to take care of it, you will eventually see the results you are looking for because we all know that curly hair is not easy to maintain.
I try to do three strength training sessions a week, followed by cardio (either riding a peloton or running outside). I usually throw my hair in a bun, and I definitely relate to the feeling that I have to choose between a good hair day and a good exercise. I usually don’t do a rigorous workout if my hair is straightened because it will sweat. When it’s curly, I also don’t style it if I’m going to work out because it’s usually not worth the effort.
with Sunday || Despite my Sunday products, I was already looking forward to coloring it in, and I wore my curly hair more often than straight hair (which is a huge thing for me). My hair felt smoother, my curls were more moisturized, and instead of wearing my usual buns, my hair was in a ponytail with curls.
I have a dry scalp, which can be frustrating when you wear your hair curly because even though your hair is damp, the scalp dries out. I loved South Me Scalp Serum Because it was so easy to apply to my dry areas, and I noticed that those areas were more hydrating. I really liked too Edge Flourish Daily Nourishing SerumAnd I was surprised that it actually moisturizes my edges. Some of the other edge products I’ve used have peeled afterwards, but this was smooth without the stiffness, flaking, or drying of my skin.

Embrace your curls and dress them up according to your mood! No frizzy hair day is ever the same. And if you’re like me and don’t always have the patience to wash, condition and style your curls after every workout (who has time for that!?), root update It will be your secret weapon.
I usually work out at night after work or first thing in the morning on the weekends, either way my hair can look a bit cumbersome. To be honest, I’ve never really thought about taking care of my hair during a workout, which may explain why my post-workout curls like Tom Hanks in forsaken And less like Nicole Kidman backing down.
Add in the fact that I always work in a ponytail (which means my hair has a noticeable ponytail line when I pull it down), and you’ll understand why I never felt like I could do a workout and then style my hair. Hair without wetting it in the shower. But with Sunday || Sunday kit, I was able to go from pre-workout to post-workout without immediately jumping in the shower, something I once thought was an urban legend.
the Revive Me Moisturizing Spray Perhaps the hero producer was Lee of the group. It smells great, it made my hair feel really soft, but it also helped keep my curls looking like pre-workout and post-workout. I can’t tell you how many moisturizing sprays I’ve tried over the years, and this moisturizer has the perfect consistency. I used this after my workouts instead of in the shower, and it helped restore the look and feel of my curls. First for me!

kidding. Have a good sense of humor. There will be times when your hair will seem like it worked more than you did, and that’s okay – that’s why hats were invented! But, when you find a good product that works, buy it in all sizes and store it everywhere (bathroom, gym bag, regular bag, desk drawer, anywhere else you might be) so you’ll never run out of it!
