How to get rid of belly fat
Belly fat is the most annoying place to lose fat from and as mothers, it causes us many problems as we gain a lot in this area during the process of having our children.
So what are some belly fat exercises and belly fat burning foods that you should use to lose belly fat? Keep reading to find it.
1. Eat clean
It’s all about eating as soon as possible and reducing processed food intake. That means plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables to keep us full and healthy while keeping our sugar and simple carbs low.
Focus on exercises that target the stomach and torso. While you can’t ‘reduce’ belly fat, regular intense exercise, even for a few minutes a day, can help you reduce fat around your belly. Try some cardio, strength training, HIIT or even jumping on the treadmill to get your body moving and burn fat.

3. Eat foods that reduce bloating
Oftentimes, bloating may be the real problem, not stomach fat itself. Eating certain foods and drinks can go a long way in reducing the bloating that can make you feel depressed.
Foods that burn belly fat include fennel seeds, asparagus, avocado, garlic, green tea, kimchi, and berries.

4. Shoot this metabolism
Use common belly fat burning ingredients like ginger, garlic, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, turmeric and cumin in your diet. These foods stimulate your metabolism and turn your body into a fat loss machine.
5. Protein, protein, protein!
Lean protein (with less fat) keeps you full for longer, making it less likely you’ll have a sugary snack after your meal, which helps reduce belly fat.
Think nuts, salmon, lean meats (such as chicken and turkey), tofu, eggs, yogurt, tuna, and some types of cheese.
6. Increase your heart rate
You don’t need an expensive gym membership!
Any exercise will help increase calorie expenditure, so go ahead! Chasing the kids around the park, walking to the beach, strolling to the shops instead of driving, dancing around the living room or using many of the exercise routines from 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge App.
Every little part matters. Keep as active as possible each day to get your heart pumping and releasing your energy, so help reduce stomach fat.
7. Reduce sugar and fat and increase fiber and protein
Sugary and fatty foods (like cakes, biscuits, chocolate, pastries, cookies and every other kind of candy) make your body feel unsatisfied and lethargic – you want more and more because they don’t fill you up.
That’s why they’re called empty calories so often.
Cut back on these foods and instead choose foods rich in fiber and protein that will leave you feeling energized and satisfied – and therefore less likely to overeat.
Try eggs with whole-grain toast, tuna salads, chicken rolls, vegetables, fruits, nuts, steaks, and vegetables. After all, it’s better not to gain belly fat in the first place than to lose it once it does.

There are many benefits to losing midsection fat by lowering blood pressure and blood sugar levels, helping to prevent type 2 diabetes and lowering the risk of heart disease.
The fat around your abdomen is known as visceral fat because it is found around vital organs such as the liver, stomach and intestines. Belly fat is used to protect these organs, but storing excess fat in this area can increase your risk of a range of health problems:
- Increased blood sugar levels
- Increased risk of type 2 diabetes
- Low metabolic rate – this would harm your ability to lose weight in general
- Increased risk of heart disease
- Effect on your cortisol levels
